PRINCIPAL BROKER & PARTNER
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Mr. Parker received his B.S.B.A. degree in accounting and attended law school at Southern Methodist University. In 1976 he joined Merrell Associates, Inc. as Vice-President and opened their Nashville, Tennessee office. With Merrell Associates, Mr. Parker was responsible for property sales of hotels/motels. He also assisted in establishing management and marketing policies and was totally responsible for all generated revenues.
He left Merrell Associates to form P & M Enterprises, Inc., which specialized in retail and hotel management contract with options to purchase. From P & M Enterprises, he moved to form and become president of Parker Investments, Inc., a multi-faceted real estate company offering sales, appraisal, management and investment assistance to selective clients. Parker Investments focused on hotel/motel sales and operations, along with apartment complexes and capital funding.
In 1985, J. Dudley Parker, formed Parker~Davis Associates, a diversified real estate investing firm specializing in commercial real estate development, brokerage, syndication and acquisition. The formation of this company was the culmination of years of experience in the real estate industry for Mr. Parker.
In January 1991, Mr. Parker started his association with Dennis Grass forming Parker~Davis~Grass eventually becoming The Parker~Grass Company. In 2000, Mr. Parker formed PGM Properties, LLC with Charles and John McReynolds for the express purpose of developing retail opportunities primarily in the southeastern United States.
In 1961 Charles McReynolds received a Bachelor Science Degree in accounting from Mississippi State University.
Mr. McReynolds was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1961 until 1971, except for one year (1967) when he served as Vice President and Controller for Zapata Marine Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zapata Norness, Inc., Houston, Texas.
In 1971, he joined Sea Pines Company, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, a leading resort and community developer. At Sea Pines he was Vice President, Financial Services, and was in charge of the company’s Consulting Division, which provided land planning, market research, and financial planning to real estate clients. He also served on the company’s Board of Directors from 1972 until 1975.
In 1975, he joined Great American Management and Investment Company as Executive Vice President and played a major role in restructuring the company to an operating status. As Regional Manager of GAMI’s first operating region for Mississippi and Louisiana, he had direct control of approximately 1900apartment units in a two-state area.
In 1977, McReynolds and Mr. John C. Ellis, Jr. formed Equity Management Corporation to acquire and develop over 6,000 luxury apartment units and other income producing properties. In 1983, McReynolds founded Equity Investments of Ms, Inc. for the purpose of continuing to acquire quality real estate equities in the southeast.
In 2000, Mr. McReynolds formed PGM Properties, LLC with Mr. Parker for the express purpose of developing retail opportunities in the southeastern United States.
In 1987 John McReynolds graduated with a Bachelors Professional accounting degree from Mississippi State University.
Mr. McReynolds was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta, Ga. from 1987 to 1994 where he was a manager in both the real estate advisory and construction services practices. He was manager in charge of the construction services practice.
In 1994 he joined Williams Group International, a $300 million industrial services contracting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
In 1996 he joined Balfour Beatty Construction, Inc, a $350 million Atlanta based subsidiary of a United Kingdom heavy civil construction company, where he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. As part of the management team he played a major role in restructuring the U.S. operations taking the company from significant operating losses to profitability in two years.
In 1999 he joined Charles McReynolds at Equity Investments of Mississippi. In 2000, Mr. McReynolds formed PGM Properties, LLC with Mr. Parker for the express purpose of developing retail opportunities in the southeastern United States.
