Charles F. McReynolds
In 1961 Charles McReynolds received a Bachelor Science Degree in accounting from Mississippi State University.
Mr. McReynolds is a CPA and was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1961 until 1971, except for one year (1967) when he served as Vice President and Controller for Zapata Marine Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zapata Norness, Inc., Houston, Texas.
In 1971, he joined Sea Pines Company, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, a leading resort and community developer. At Sea Pines he was Vice President, Financial Services, and was in charge of the company's Consulting Division, which provided land planning, market research, and financial planning to real estate clients. He also served on the company's Board of Directors from 1972 until 1975.
In 1975, he joined Great American Management and Investment Company as Executive Vice President and played a major role in restructuring the company to an operating status. As Regional Manager of GAMI's first operating region for Mississippi and Louisiana, he had direct control of approximately 1900 apartment units in a two-state area.
In 1977, McReynolds and Mr. John C. Ellis, Jr. formed Equity Management Corporation to acquire and develop over 6,000 luxury apartment units and other income producing properties. In 1983, McReyn- olds founded Equity Investments of Ms, Inc. for the purpose of continuing to acquire quality real estate equities in the southeast.
In 2000, Mr. McReynolds formed PGM Properties, LLC with Mr. Parker and Mr. Grass for the express purpose of developing retail opportunities primarily in the southeastern United States.
